About Sissy Sound

My name is Deef den Hartoog. Sissy Sound is an umbrella for all my music-related activities. I have been a musician for the past 20 years. I am a certified audio engineer with my own production studio based in the Hague in the Netherlands.

Who am I?

Creative on demand. A singer with a story to tell. A bassplayer with a groove to share. A guitarist with a riff of passion. I play the keys like a child, bang the drums with a fierce beat. Composing and producing for everyone with ears to listen, eyes to see and emotions to feel. Shooting no-budget films and videos with an eye for detail, a sense of humour and maximum results without too much effort.

What do I want?

World peace!! I do, really! I would also like to live from my music, movies and other creative explorations. Until then, any creative job will do.

What did I do?
